Aniket Joshi is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Tech team at Amii. His work involves using natural language processing (NLP) to automate tasks and workflows in the construction industry. Aniket has worked as an intern on several multi-disciplinary projects across various fields, including finance, healthcare and politics. One previous project at analytics company IOTO consisted of applying NLP to political data in order to increase understanding of political performance and improve citizen engagement.
Aniket earned a MSc and PhD in Math from the University of Alberta. His research was on the interface of string theory, enumerative geometry and algebra. Outside of ML, he enjoys rock climbing, skiing and playing chess.
