Kirby Banman is a Machine Learning Intern with the Startup team at Amii. He provides science consultation and is a mentor for the Startup team's Level Up program. He has experience in software and data engineering, as well as ML research and application.
Kirby earned a BSc in Software Engineering and MSc in Statistical Machine Learning from the University of Alberta. In his free time, he enjoys adventures deep in the mountains, making things, fixing things, and sipping interesting coffees and beers.
