Melanie Phillips (she/her) is a Human Resources Business Partner with the People and Culture Team at Amii. Melanie supports the success and growth of People Leaders and employees. She provides knowledge and expertise in the vast array of human resources, from training and development to recruitment and coaching.
Melanie has a diploma in Human Resources Management from MacEwan University and had the privilege of working in the field while going to school part-time. Since starting her career in HR, she has worked for eight years in progressively responsible human resources roles, predominantly in the healthcare and technology industries. Melanie has developed and facilitated various training workshops for People Leaders and employees, created policies and procedures, implemented HRIS systems and strives to streamline HR processes and procedures continuously.
In her spare time, she loves playing cards and camping, going to farmer's markets, reading and watching movies. She also plays "bones" in a Bunnock League in Edmonton.
