Ruchika Verma

Machine Learning Intern

Ruchika Verma is a Machine Learning Intern with the Apprentice Programming & Placement team. Ruchika’s research interests include machine learning, deep learning, medical image analysis and computational pathology. She has held internships with Amii Fellow Dr. Russ Greiner at the University of Alberta, as well as with Dr. Trever Bivona at the University of California San Francisco, and worked as a graduate research assistant (Ph.D. candidate) at Case Western Reserve University.

Ruchika earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, an MTech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with specialization in signal processing and machine learning from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), and a BTech (with distinction) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University.

Outside of work, Ruchika likes to explore different places, go for bike rides and play chess.
