Shahrzad Sayehban is a Machine Learning Intern with the Industry team at Amii. She also served as a Machine Learning Intern with the Advanced Tech team at Amii, focused on a natural language processing task.
During her Master’s studies, Shahrzad was a Graduate Research Assistant on ML and natural language processing (NLP) at the University of Alberta. She was also a Teaching Assistant at the University of Alberta and Amirkabir University of Technology, during her MSc and BSc studies. She also has experience as a Fullstack software developer.
Shahrzad earned her MSc in Computing Science at the University of Alberta, focused primarily on NLP and ML. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, travelling, hiking and other adventurous activities, swimming, and yoga.
