HackED Beta

We are proud to be sponsoring HackED Beta, the annual 24-hour hackathon hosted by the University of Alberta’s Computer Engineering Club. Hackathons are for designing, creating, and building awesome projects; this event welcomes novice hackers, first time programmers, and people who want to try something new.

Educational Opportunities

Amii Educates aims to boost machine intelligence skills and literacy. Here are the programs currently being offered:

Amii & UAlberta Faculty of Extension – Managing Machine Learning Projects

Understand the Machine Learning Project Life Cycle (MLPL) and learn how to integrate it into a business context. You will analyze MLPL case studies and acquire the working knowledge needed to apply the MLPL in your business or organization.

AI Seminars

Keep up to date on research coming out of the University of Alberta and beyond! The Artificial Intelligence Seminar is a weekly meeting where researchers interested in AI can share their research. Organized by and hosted at the University of Alberta, each AI Seminar happens (unless otherwise specified) at 12 – 1 pm in the Computing Science Center, CSC B-10 (floorplan). Plus, pizza is provided for all attendees!
