Yuhong Guo is a Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University, a Canada CIFAR AI Chair at Amii, and a Canada Research Chair in Machine Learning. Yuhong focuses on learning useful data representations and accurate classification models under various circumstances. Her ultimate research goal is to automate the learning process and reduce the dependence of learning systems on human guidance.


The University of Alberta Artificial Intelligence (AI) Seminar is a weekly meeting where researchers (including students, developers, and professors) interested in AI can share their current research. Presenters include local speakers from the University of Alberta and industry as well as other institutions.
