The algorithms that run (or ruin) our lives

In our daily lives, whenever we start an application, press a button on the keyboard, trigger a sensor, or perform some calculation, there is always an algorithm that is activated presumably to make our life easier. Osmar Zaïane (Fellow & Canada CIFAR AI Chair at Amii) presents on the topic of algorithms -- what they are, where they are, and how they're affecting our lives.
