AI Seminar Series 2021: Daniel Haight - Edible AI

The AI Seminar is a weekly meeting at the University of Alberta where researchers interested in artificial intelligence (AI) can share their research. Presenters include both local speakers from the University of Alberta and visitors from other institutions. Topics can be related in any way to artificial intelligence, from foundational theoretical work to innovative applications of AI techniques to new fields and problems.

On August 6, Daniel Haight (President and co-founder of Darkhorse Analytics) presented “Edible AI - Building Effective and Accessible Models with Data Wrangling and Visualization" at the AI Seminar.

In this talk, Daniel discusses data wrangling and data visualization -- skills that make AI and ML models more consumable. He proposes a structured approach to data wrangling and looks at different data visualization techniques to ensure accurate, accessible insights.
