Join our team! We are looking for a full-time permanent Product Owner - Training.

As the Product Owner, Training you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Amii’s external education initiatives, including providing strategic direction and overseeing program administration.

Using your passion for education, you will consult with management, Program Owners, Lead Scientists, Applied scientists, educators, and stakeholders to ensure that student, business and science-related issues are understood and incorporated into program, course planning, and administration.

Combining a strong business sense with good problem-solving skills, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning, program development and administration of Amii’s applied educational offerings.

The role focuses on achieving excellence in three main accountabilities:

• Market Research & Learner Journeys
• Instructional Design & Curriculum Development
• Customer Success

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product, operations, or project management in an academic or learning environment or 5+ years in curriculum development, instructional design or education leadership
• A University degree in a relevant program is an asset. Fields of study can be broad and include Business, Communications, Economics, Management, or Engineering, Education, Education Technology or Library and Information Studies
• Experience working within a technology-focused organization is an asset
• 5+ years of supervisory experience is an asset
• 3+years of budgeting processes and data management experience is an asset
• Experience managing client projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate highly technical subject matter to a variety of audiences, including those that are non-technical
• Proven experience in a knowledge translation environment, both academic and adult education is an asset
• Knowledge of machine learning industry and terminology is an asset
