Heba is the Summer Intern with the Events & Hosting team at Amii. She graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc. in Biological Sciences and a BA in Sociology, and was a recent participant in Amii's AI4Good Lab. She is passionate about supporting start-ups in the community, having served as President of the Entrepreneurship Club at UAlberta, and is particularly interested in the application of AI/ML to improve healthcare accessibility in rural and remote areas.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Heba enjoys bouldering, strength training, Sudoku, and binging Netflix K-dramas.
