As the Product Owner - Startups, Adam is passionate about supporting, engaging and growing the startup community in Alberta & beyond. He is driven by seeing others grow and learn.
Adam came to Amii from Startup Edmonton, where he grew the post-secondary programming and led their Community Team. Adam also has over 4 years of experience with the Government of Alberta, where he worked in many different roles, including HR Business Partner in Alberta Energy, and as Policy Analyst in Economic Development & Trade and Corporate Human Resources.
Adam received his Bachelor of Commerce in HR Management from the University of Alberta School of Business. Outside of the office, Adam loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and pets (1 dog & 3 cats), drinking local craft beer, spending time in the mountains, and discussing theories on Game of Thrones, Star Wars and Marvel.

Amii partners with the Google for Startups Cloud Program to help founders scale and grow. Participation in the Google for Startup Cloud program is open to any existing startup that has participated in Amii’s ML Exploration program or Level Up: Amii’s CTO Coaching program in the last 12 months or intends to do so in the future.

Amii announces work with Communitech, a Waterloo Region innovation hub, to empower startup founders with the AI tools and resources they need to integrate AI and build in-house capabilities successfully. The collaboration will leverage Amii’s leading AI expertise and resources and be centred around Amii’s Machine Learning Exploration (ML Exploration) program.
