Melanie Calvert

Administrative Assistant

Melanie Calvert is an Administrative Assistant at Amii, working along with her husband Wes in this role. Melanie has 19 years of experience on campus and has played a role in the organizing of over 25 local and international academic conferences.

Melanie loves all things in nature, including animals, birds, and the beautiful trails and mountains in Banff and Kananaskis. She will happily name all the creatures that she meets, including ground squirrels, mice and even the many magpies outside her window.

Melanie is learning Arabic and has also enjoyed meeting new people from the 43 countries she has visited. Her favourite quote is: “You are never more than one grateful thought away from increased peace of mind and greater peace of heart”.
