Nafisa Bowen is the Director of Sponsorship with the Investment and Partnerships team at Amii. She has more than 15 years of experience working in the charitable sector with large health-related charities, including STARS Air Ambulance and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. In 2022, she was part of the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy 40 Under 40 Program, designed to recognize future leaders within the healthcare development community.
Nafisa earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Ecology at the University of Alberta and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). In her free time, she is an active volunteer within the community: She is a board member and the Director of IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access) with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Edmonton and Area Chapter, and a campaign cabinet member for MacEwan University’s Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
