César Miguel Valdez Córdova

César Miguel Valdez Córdova is a Future Forged Research Associate with the Advanced Tech team, participating in the Biology Track. He develops machine learning algorithms, rooting applied geometry in the complexity of natural systems: from molecular properties to population-level phenomena. His work blends scientific curiosity with a practical appreciation for system design, bringing a research engineering mindset to the tools and workflows that support scientific inquiry.

Originally from Mexicali, Mexico, César holds dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science (CICESE) and Artificial Intelligence (Johannes Kepler University Linz). His scientific journey began in nanotechnology and chemistry engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey and now sits at the intersection of computational innovation and the life sciences, as he pursues a PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences at McGill University/Mila. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, postmodern literature, music production, and fermentation.
