David is the Product Owner of the Advanced Tech team at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii), where he spearheads the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for industry. He collaborates closely with industry leaders to understand their core challenges and guides a multidisciplinary team to build machine learning models that drive real-world value.

David has spent the last decade advising businesses on how to make use of data science, machine learning, and AI to solve organizational challenges. His strategic approach is underpinned by his experience leading a data science team in Alberta's tech sector, a PhD from the University of Calgary, and his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation, allowing him to effectively bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and focused execution.
