Erika Hudon-Kaide is the Academic & Government Relations Specialist in the Office of the CEO at Amii.

She previously worked on Amii’s Talent team, where she helped create career development opportunities for graduate students and early-career researchers in AI. Her focus was on providing relevant learning experiences to help them build strong foundations for their future careers.

Before joining Amii, Erika worked at a technology company developing AI/ML tools for the nonprofit sector. She also spent time at several nonprofit organizations, supporting community arts programs, women in STEM initiatives, and student tutoring services. Erika finds the most fulfillment in roles where she can connect with others and offer meaningful support.

She holds a bilingual Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta. Outside of work, Erika enjoys discovering new shops in search of the perfect pair of pants, making a bangin’ latte, and exploring Edmonton’s food scene. She is fluent in French and conversational in Japanese.
