Diana Shaw is the Grants Specialist at Amii, where she leads the development and management of high-impact grant proposals that advance Amii’s research, innovation, and ecosystem goals. She brings extensive experience across academia, government, and industry, working with organizations in health, wellness, social services, law enforcement, agritech, and the not-for-profit sector. Diana has led and supported multidisciplinary teams across the full innovation lifecycle, from early design and prototyping through to commercialization and scale, helping teams align strong ideas with funding strategies that deliver results.

Originally from the UK, Diana holds an MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Queensland and a PhD in Medical Sciences at the University of Calgary. She also has her Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and certification in Prosci Change Management. Outside of work, she enjoys adventures and traveling, exploring new foods and music, and playing doubles squash.
