Madison Properzi

Madison Properzi is an AI Literacy Specialist with the Training team at Amii. Dedicated to collaboration and inclusivity, her experience in provincial education initiatives bridges K-12 learning, community engagement, and public education. Madison has developed curriculum, learning materials, and publications for use in classrooms and to support policy. She brings an interdisciplinary approach to curriculum strategy, drawing on hands-on experience to build thoughtful AI literacy resources for everyone.

Previously, Madison led education initiatives spanning violence prevention, health, employment, and the environment. In her role at Alberta Native Friendship Centres Association, Madison led province-wide K-12 programming, provincial frameworks, and resource development for urban Indigenous K-12 students, integrating STEM education, trauma-informed pedagogy, and Indigenous ways of knowing and being.

Holding a strong commitment to accessible, reflective learning environments, her background spans post-secondary instruction, community mobilization, and knowledge translation. Outside of educational innovation and curriculum design, Madison enjoys unique stationery, art, reading, and spending time with her partner and their dog Mini.
