MoJa is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Tech team at Amii. He focuses on developing cutting-edge Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and personalized chatbots for high-stakes domains, with a strong emphasis on AI safety, reliability, and agentic AI behavior. His commitment to trustworthy AI is rooted in his previous work as a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where his research evaluated Large Language Models (LLMs) across settings requiring verifiable AI behavior. MoJa holds an M.Sc. in Computing Science from the University of Alberta. When he's not diving into NLP, LLMs, Information Retrieval, and Responsible AI, he enjoys staying active with running and playing volleyball.
