Niko Yasui is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Technology team at Amii, currently working with Amii client T.Rex AI, where she combines her passion for reinforcement learning with infrastructure-scale impact. She has worked on various AI initiatives including consulting with local startup Artificial.Agency and course development with Amii. In research her focus has been on preference alignment, exploration, and multi-agent learning, with some human genetics and bioinformatics in the distant past. Niko is excited to bring her foundational AI research experience into the real world during her time at Amii.

Outside of work, Niko likes reading, cooking, urban hikes, and travelling with her partner.
