Amy is the K-12 Education Manager with the Amii Training team. A passionate educator, she brings experience as both an Alberta teacher and an Education Consultant.

Throughout her career as a teacher and educational leader, Amy taught multiple grades and served as her school’s Division One Literacy Lead and First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Lead Teacher. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Studies from the University of Alberta, specializing in school improvement and creating equitable learning environments. Amy is passionate about critical thinking, Indigenous education, and leveraging technology to close educational gaps. Her background also includes reviewing and authorizing learning and teaching resources as an Education Consultant for the Ministry of Education and Childcare.

Outside of work, Amy loves anything Star Wars or gaming. Whether she is playing board games, video games, or arcade games, she enjoys embracing her competitive nature. She also loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors. When feeling introverted, she winds down by watching a TV show alongside her two Maine Coon cats.
