Brian Ssennoga is a Machine Learning Project Manager with the Advanced Technology team at Amii, where he bridges the gap between cutting-edge machine learning research and practical industry applications. Brian brings over 10 years of progressive experience in technology project management, with expertise in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and delivering large-scale digital solutions that drive measurable impact.
Prior to joining Amii, Brian founded Guild Digital Foundation, where he led the deployment of AI-enabled digital health platforms serving over 810,000 beneficiaries across 13 refugee settlements in Uganda. His experience spans multiple continents and sectors, including senior roles at Last Mile Health, Medic, and various technology organizations, where he managed multi-million dollar budgets and coordinated with government agencies, international NGOs, and technical teams to deliver transformative digital solutions.

Brian holds a BSc Computer Science from Makerere University, an MBA in International Business from Amity University, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).

Based in Edmonton, Brian is passionate about leveraging technology to solve complex problems and is actively involved in the local data science community. When not managing machine learning projects, he enjoys exploring Alberta's outdoor recreation opportunities and mentoring emerging technology leaders.
