Sivalingam Ampatishan is a Machine Learning Scientist with the Industry team at Amii, where he leverages his expertise in AI/ML to help clients identify opportunities and implement AI solutions within their workflows.

Ampatishan has a combined experience of more than five years in the field of ML across both academia and industry. Before joining Amii, he worked as a Data Scientist, helping companies derive meaningful insights from their data and assisting with predictive modeling initiatives. His primary technical interest revolves around Computer Vision.

His academic background includes a Master's degree focused on Biomedical Imaging. His thesis research is based on segmentation of a fetus from 3D ultrasound images.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, travelling, and appreciating nature.
