Zo Chapman

Zo Chapman is a Machine Learning Resident with the Advanced Technology team at Amii. They are currently working in partnership with Vestas, conducting applied research to develop machine learning solutions that support Vestas’ vision for the future of wind energy. Previously, Zo was an Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Intern at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, where they worked under Dr. Rajat Shinde on RLHF techniques for LLM alignment with evolving science.

Zo earned their MSc from Georgia Institute of Technology in Data Science and Analytics with a focus on reinforcement learning. They also hold a BSc in Physics and Astronomy from Georgia State University, where they conducted astrophysics research on active black holes.

Outside of work, Zo enjoys astronomy, cooking, hiking, watching horror movies, and traveling with their wife.
