Amii Delivers AI Programs to African Canadian Civic Engagement Council to Empower Young Black Founders

Working together to level the playing field for early-stage entrepreneurs of African-descent facing steep technical barriers. 

As a national leader in AI training, Amii is providing access to its literacy programs through the ANZA 2.0 Entrepreneurship Ecosystem program, equipping young founders with the skills, mentorship, and technological confidence to create their own economic opportunities. By embedding Amii’s AI training into a holistic community framework, the partnership empowers entrepreneurs of African-descent to confidently scale their AI-enabled ventures and build revenue-ready and investment-ready businesses.

Through a five-year commitment, Amii will deliver 10 private cohorts of its Machine Learning (ML) Exploration program to guide early-stage startups beginning their AI journey. Additionally, ANZA 2.0 Entrepreneurship Ecosystem participants will receive access to Amii’s AI Literacy for Everyone platform, a best-in-class, on-demand training hub that makes AI knowledge accessible, empowering learners to confidently understand, apply, and govern AI tools responsibly.

By supporting these innovators to identify machine learning opportunities, evaluate data readiness, and ethically adopt automation tools, Amii continues to nurture a highly skilled network of AI-confident leaders—driving long-term prosperity for Black communities and fueling Canada’s broader startup ecosystem.
