The scholarship program will award 750 scholarships to Canadian post-secondary students in environmental sciences and meteorology and provide free access to the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Foundations: Environmental Sciences and Meteorology Pre-Professional Development program, designed to build critical AI literacy and applied skills.

AI for Earth Scholarship: Program Curriculum and Impact
The curriculum is specifically designed for students in earth sciences and meteorology to ensure practical and immediate applicability to the demands of the workforce, including the public sector.
Program Highlights
Curriculum: Participants will have access to two foundational workshops — ML Foundations 1 and ML Foundations 2 — as well as 10 specialized learning assets tailored to their fields.
Format: All training is delivered through asynchronous workshops and learning assets on a Learning Management System (LMS), offering maximum flexibility for students.
Recognition: Upon completion, students will receive formal recognition of their competencies through a digital badging system.
