K-12 Education Advisor
Jill Kowalchuk is the K-12 Education Advisor with the Training team at Amii. Jill has been a junior high and high school social studies teacher in Alberta for the past six years. She has also worked as an educational consultant and educational researcher.
Jill earned a Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta, as well as a graduate diploma in Interdisciplinary Education from the University of Calgary. She also holds a Master of Education from the University of Toronto in Social Justice Education. Jill is currently working on her PhD in Curriculum and Pedagogy at the University of Alberta in the Department of Secondary Education, where her research focuses on how social media influences teachers' pedagogical decisions.
In her spare time, Jill enjoys spending time with friends and family, creating content on TikTok and travelling.
