The AI Seminar is a weekly meeting at the University of Alberta where researchers interested in artificial intelligence (AI) can share their research. Presenters include both local speakers from the University of Alberta and visitors from other institutions. Topics can be related in any way to artificial intelligence, from foundational theoretical work to innovative applications of AI techniques to new fields and problems.
On October 1, Tyler Hanson and Nolan McMahon of LoKnow Inc. presented “Challenges and Opportunities in Digital Advertising- An Overview from Local AdTech Company LoKnow Inc.” at the AI Seminar.
Digital Advertising is growing at about $60B per year globally and not showing any signs of slowing down. Hanson and McMahon share insights into the challenges of the industry and how LoKnow is exploring the possibilities offered by AI and machine learning.
