This is a paid internship that will be undertaken over a twelve-month period with the potential to be hired by our client afterwards (note: at the discretion of the client). The Resident will be reporting to an Amii Scientist and regularly consult with the Client team to share insights and engage in knowledge transfer activities.
Our client is transforming the construction engineering and design processes. They create tools that connect disparate players in the commercial construction ecosystem through smart data and solutions that simplify the specification and quotation process of plumbing, electrical and mechanical products. They use AI to simplify and expedite the process allowing manufacturers to sell more products and distributors and contractors to win more projects.
Our client has a working ML model that reads construction specs and drawings and finds manufacturer products that need to be priced by contractors and suppliers as they compete to win projects. The suite of solutions requires additional AI approaches that can expand on the existing framework to add self-learning capabilities and additional AI recommendations for automated design and pricing.
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with solid knowledge of machine learning, demonstrated experience with NLP, and experience in the construction industry or the supply chain with manufacturer product distribution or channel distribution exposure.
