Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in progressively responsible marketing roles with at least three years of successful and responsible leadership/management position in a similar organization or scope of organizational work.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • 2+years of budgeting processes, data management experience.
  • Proven experience working with various MarTech tools, including a CRM (Hubspot preferred), e-commerce, email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in discovering and executing within multiple communications channels to drive business metrics and growth.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of product marketing best practices.

Role duties

The Director of Marketing Operations will:

  • Lead, plan and execute on all facets of marketing operations, product marketing and brand management.
  • Wholly own marketing automation. This includes serving as a subject matter expert on marketing automation; maintaining database health; overseeing and executing campaigns through our tooling; and supporting the implementation of any new tooling; understanding how data flows between our MarTech tools and the broader work of the organization.
  • Develop customer journeys and deploy campaigns at all life cycle stages. Proactively communicate insights and results to internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams such as the Product, Finance & Admin and Partnerships teams to derive and provide insights that support the growth and management of the business.
  • Document and create road maps for marketing automation standard operating procedures, current and future testing and experimentation, and insights on campaigns/journeys/promotions.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the VP Product and the Executive team on activities related to product marketing and brand management.
  • Firmly establish themselves as a trusted advisor to the VP Product related to the overall management of the Marketing and Communications Team
