Mohammad Amin (Amin) Soleimanzade is a Machine Learning Intern with the Advanced Tech team at Amii, working with our client ISL Adapt to optimize water treatment processes through reinforcement learning algorithms. Prior to joining Amii, Amin was an Associate Machine Learning Developer at AltaML; there, he employed graph machine learning to improve the performance of a Canadian automation company’s process monitoring systems. He was also a Research Assistant at the University of Alberta, where he conducted research on the applications of deep reinforcement learning in various fields, such as energy optimization, optical fiber communication and water desalination.
Amin earned a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. Outside of work, he enjoys learning photography and watching movies and TV shows.
