Experienced players know music can take your Role Playing Game (RPG) from “meh” to “HUZZAH!”. Meet Bardo - an AI tool that can match mood to music for tabletop roleplaying games.
Hear from Amii Fellow Levi H. S. Lelis about how AI can be used to read a room and pick music to fit the mood.
Created in collaboration with fellow AI researchers Lucas N. Ferreira and Jim Whitehead, this AI-powered tool creates background music by analyzing the speech of people playing tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons and then picking — or creating — the right song to match their emotions.
Learn how Bardo works and how AI technology is moving forward rapidly.
This free event is appropriate for all ages. A short Q&A will follow the presentation.
Attend in-person at Amii HQ in downtown Edmonton or click the bell on the livestream to be notified when the event begins.
